The W485 Wi-Fi module is an add-on that provides Wi-Fi connectivity for TRIKDIS G16 and G16T communicators, the SP231 control panel, and the T16 radio transmitter.
When connected to G16 and G16T communicators, the module provides a transparent communication channel over a Wi-Fi network. This enables remote control of the security system via the Protegus app when connected to Wi-Fi.
When connected to the SP231 security panel and the T16 radio transmitter, the W485 module only sends event notifications—without the ability to control the system via the Protegus app.
